To our patient families:
As we all continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to remind our families that we are here for you during this challenging time. Our commitment to provide safe, quality care for our patients is our highest priority. Here are the top ways we are keeping our commitment to our patients and visitors:

When you come to Dayton Children’s a few things will look different as we work to protect you, your family, visitors and staff. This video will give you a quick overview of what to expect:

|
While we still encourage you to limit to one adult caregiver per patient, we have eased restrictions to allow two adult caregivers per patient. All siblings should stay at home. The fewer people we have in the hospital, the safer it will be for everyone. Learn more!

| |
|
When you arrive, a Dayton Children’s caregiver will take your and your child’s temperature, ask about any symptoms of COVID-19 and provide a mask to wear. Every employee at Dayton Children’s also wears a mask.

in-person or virtual care
|
| |
|
Sometimes the doctor needs to see your child in person; other times, a virtual visit is best. Whichever your child needs, we can help you get the right care for you.
You can schedule online an in-person visit, or you can call our scheduling team at 937-641-4000. Depending on your clinic, you could do a telephone call or video visit.
To schedule a virtual visit, call our scheduling team at 937-641-4000.
• If you are scheduled for a video visit, please find instructions for getting set up for video visits with a Dayton Children’s provider.
• We encourage you to sign in to your MyKidsChart account to ensure you can successfully access your account and be ready for your visit. Don’t have an account? It’s easy to sign up now!

social distancing made easy
|
| |
|
We have also made social distancing easy – just look for the stickers on the floor that help maintain six feet between people. All waiting rooms have been reconfigured to maintain appropriate distancing.
