“COVID-19 presented a new and unique experience in preparing for labor. Would we deliver at its peak? Would we and our new baby be exposed? Would my husband be able to join? All of these concerns were on top of the existing nerves around delivery. While there many unknown surrounding COVID-19, we were confident in our choice that Rose was the right place to deliver…not only because of our first delivery experience, but also because we knew they were taking all the COVID-19 precautions possible. There is a separate entrance for Rose Babies, check points to ensure everyone’s safety and kind and extremely capable staff.

“We just want to say thank you so much to Swedish and to all of the nurses and the doctors and the specialists. This was a very scary time for us, and we never felt endangered, we never felt concerned, and quite honestly we never even thought about the pandemic while we were here. Everybody is taking every precaution. We’re so thankful and we’re very blessed. There was a team for me, and there was a team for her.”

“We had very thorough information in advance, were kept well informed and the entire Sky Ridge team was calm, attentive and reassuring. We felt Sky Ridge was a very safe and caring hospital.”
Dad went on to note that he and his wife Elizabeth watched the video with Dr. Bubier and Dr. Kelly sharing information about delivering during COVID and entering through the ER. “The video was very reassuring and helped us navigate our way. We were happy to see everyone being screened.”

“My husband and I had many concerns going into the birth of our second daughter in the midst of a global pandemic. Unsure of whether or not he would be able to be present at the birth, I had a lot of anxiety about the birth. I was consistently comforted though by the daily stream of updates and virtual sessions that Rose provided.”
“The day of the birth itself was a wonderful experience, with the best staff supporting us during the process. From the cleaning staff members to nurses and doctors, we felt safe, secure, and cared for the entire time in the hospital. We couldn’t imagine a better welcome for our sweet Maggie Jean, our second Rose baby.”
“Thank you to the wonderful staff for making it the most positive experience in this time of uncertainty.” - Katy
