Total Joint Replacement FAQs

Common Questions Orthopedic Surgeons Hear from Joint Patients

Q:  When will I be able to return to work after my surgery?

A:  This depends on your profession, your clinical progression and your surgeon. If your work is primarily sedentary, you may return part-time a few weeks after your surgery. If your work is more physically rigorous, you’ll require more time before you can return to full duty. Be sure to talk with your surgeon about returning to work.
